Elateq Completed Cleantech Open Accelerator

During summer 2020, Elateq participated in the Northeast cohort of the national Cleantech Open accelerator program. CTO is the oldest and largest cleantech startup accelerator program that fosters entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to solve environmental and energy challenges. This program provided an excellent opportunity for Elateq to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, advisors, and mentors to strengthen Elateq’s strategies for further development and growth. We especially thank the Northeast program director Beth Zonis and our great mentors Ladd Greeno, Adam Balogh, Rebbeca Craft, and Aaron Desatnik.

Dr. Rajic Presented at Annual UMass iCons Fall Workshop on Social Justice in the Energy Transition

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Elateq Co-Founder and CSO, Dr. Ljiljana Rajic joined esteemed panelists at the annual UMass iCons Fall interactive workshop to address Social Justice in the Energy Transition. While Dr. Rajic represented industry perspective and the importance of the water/energy nexus, she was joined by academic Prof. Christine Crago, UMass Resource Economics, and Dr. Peter Green, Chief Research Officer, National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL). The group fielded thoughtful questions on the intersection of the social intersection of the cleantech revolution, discussing the imperative to ensure the diversity of scientists and entrepreneurs rising to meet the global climate crisis through green energy developments and the barriers to realizing this systemically and through the first-hand experience.
